Workshop Structure

Art and Planet

The workshop begins with a collective storytelling moment introducing children to mono30 and to the idea of the Anthropocene in an accessible and playful way.

Participants will discover artworks connected to oceans, plastic pollution, deforestation and environmental transformation, inspired by works presented in the exhibition Art and Design in Dialogue with the Anthropocene.

Children will then create their own visual interpretations of landscapes, oceans, ecosystems and imagined futures using tactile construction materials.

Community and Sustainability

The second part of the workshop focuses on cities, coexistence and collective imagination.

Families will explore how humans and animals share urban environments today, reflecting on the transformations of contemporary cities and the importance of sustainable communities.

The session is also connected to future activities related to the New European Bauhaus Festival (NEB 2026), where similar creative dynamics will continue with children from other European contexts.

Tippi and Free Play

The final part of the workshop includes:

  • presentation of the Turbo Tippi first tale Buttons and Bottles
  • free exploratory play with Bauplay® wooden elements and creative cards
  • introduction to the current exhibition at mono30
  • collective closing moment and participant gifts

Children and families will also have time to continue playing and experimenting freely within the installation area.
